PTO retaining plate?

I'm looking for help identifying this part on a TYM T494. Is this something I can just replace and carry on or is this likely to include other damage?

This has less than 30 hours on it, and most of it have been moving things around with pallet forks. The damage was likely caused during about 3 hours of rotary cutting a grassy field.

It's just a retaining plate that protects the oil seal.

I imagine the bolts were loose and the PTO shaft for the cutter eventually hit them. I see the broken bolts still in the casting.

Should be a matter of removing the old broken bolts and bolt the plate back in. It will be metric bolts, M8x1.25 most likely. The length, you have to figure out but I imagine about 20 to 25 mm long. If they don't thread in all the way, they're too long, so don't force it.

EDIT: Putting some thought into this, that may have happened as soon you turned the PTO on. Assuming you pushed the PTO shaft all the way in and didn't pull back to latch on the relief cut of the tractor shaft. So it may have hit the heads of the bolt right away.

What does the end of the PTO driveshaft look like? If you fix this and mow again, will it happen again (...is my thinking).

How old it the tractor? (...thinking warranty) Sure it was ok from the dealer?

Thank you both for the response. I bought the tractor new, only a few months ago. I'm sure warranty would cover it but not sure it's worth a few hours of towing it back and forth to the dealer and I would like to still at least use the loader in the meantime. I'll at least discuss with the dealer. It helps, knowing what the part is!
