PTO issues DS 4110

Turned pto switch on and nothing happened. Assumed :cool2: it was the switch and ordered a new one, but as I think about it and look at switch I am not so sure. The tractor won't start with switch on so current must be going thru switch. Right? . What else could be causing the problem and how should I test it?

Check the PTO relay. It's likely the relay or the actual solenoid if the start interlock works.

Where should I look for relay and or solenoid ?

Check the other safety switches too, I forget which ones pertain to PTO operation, but there are a bunch.

there's also a PTO fuse you should check also. I've got an intermittent short that I have yet to completely figure out. I know in general where it is but I've gone through a handful of fuses trying.
