I also have a 200A xfer switch (inside the basement). I wasn't able to source a 60A female outlet so I simply have 30' of cord hanging on a hook outside the basement wall that will reach the tractor when needed.
The IEC60309 plugs/connectors support 60A, e.g.,

They are not cheap, but they are quite robust and have features to make them weather resistant. If you are hooking it up to a cable, can I suggest "Mine rated" cables, e.g. type W? The cables are oil/water/sunlight resistant. (E.g. Nassau cable)

Personally, I assume that if I'm hooking up the house, the weather isn't great.

The connectors and cables often turn up used, at significant reductions in price.

All the best,

Peter
