The IEC60309 plugs/connectors support 60A, e.g.,I also have a 200A xfer switch (inside the basement). I wasn't able to source a 60A female outlet so I simply have 30' of cord hanging on a hook outside the basement wall that will reach the tractor when needed.

They are not cheap, but they are quite robust and have features to make them weather resistant. If you are hooking it up to a cable, can I suggest "Mine rated" cables, e.g. type W? The cables are oil/water/sunlight resistant. (E.g. Nassau cable)
Personally, I assume that if I'm hooking up the house, the weather isn't great.
The connectors and cables often turn up used, at significant reductions in price.
All the best,
Peter
