Big Dave, your chipper looks a lot like my Bush Hog model. Bush Hog doesn't support this for parts anymore. I think it's really a Bearcat with red paint. In the attached photo you can see I have a chute for chips. It really works well, and you don't want to get in front of it when the chips are flying. In the photo, you can't see the chipper chute, but it looks a lot like yours. I really like the shredder chute on the top too. It handles small brush and greenbriars, but you want to be sure you don't get caught in the brush. it will really snatch it out of your hands. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
Oh yes, the exhaust chute works so well Bush Hog made a vacuum attachment. Since I can't get one, I'm attempting to make one myself to vacuum up piles of leaves and shred them a little quicker than my mulching mower can do it.
I'm plenty late to this thread, but thought I would reply anyway. I've had a Goosen chipper for a couple of months and love it. Shreader does up to 1.25 inch and stuff much bigger goes in my wood stove. I've found that it really helps to keep the belt tightened correctly. It was loose for a while and performance was noticable.
