PT425 T8 to mini skid (dingo) adapter, has anyone done this? I have searched the forum and found some links to drawings but the links are dead.
What would be the best way to do it? I know the mounting angles are different so that would need to be addressed.

My dad and I have a new to us PT425 and have been looking at attachments and there are several that we would like, but would not use often enough to justify purchasing. i.e. power rake, trencher. We have over a dozen rental places near us with great prices on mini skid attachments.

Havent done this, but sounds like a neat idea. Please post if you get it to work.

Don't forget to consider the weight of the adapter when planning. ;)

Not only just the weight but the oil that is in rental hydraulic lines. Clean/dirty who knows? It will be in your tractor next.

Yep. That's a good reason to avoid renting hydraulic implements for me. However, I would consider purchasing used hydraulic implements, and giving them a good flush before filling them with motor oil if the price was good.

I considered that, but for me, the cost savings of being able to rent infrequently used attachments is worth the gamble. I know many landscapers rent the attachments for their Dingos/Boxers and have never heard of the oil causing any issues. That being said, if I start using rental attachments, I'll reduce the time between filter changes.

FYI the filter only protects the tram pump. It's on the suction side of the charge pump for the tram pump. The main PTO pump and the steering/FEL/Aux PTO pump, and any of the cylinders and attachment motors do not get filtered oil.

I was not aware of that, thanks for the heads up! I will probably still take the gamble if I can get a reasonably prices adapter made that is not too heavy.

I think this adapter should work with a PT T8 plate welded on at the correct angle.

What do you think?
I guess I need to find out what angle a Dingo mounting plate is at with a flat bucket compared to our PT425. Anybody happen to have those angles?

Here's the economy version (you attach with bolts and nuts instead of levers)

Maybe you could work backwards from the mounting plate.

I'm surprised it's so difficult to find a how to
