I am being given a pt180 with forks,bucket, and trencher atts. It is also a total coincidence that that I have been trying to think of a small p-t business to start. I can fix and drive just about anything,but know nothing about this tractor. Does it sound like the right equip for a small yard/site based business?

It might be a good starter machine. Some people have found it very satisfactory. What attachments do you have? They really define what you can do.

Do pt180s have a record of carb problems? I was told i needed to fix carb to get it going.

I don't believe so. What model year and engine do you have? If it is a Robin Subaru it is a very simple carb and easy to rebuild. How many hours on it.
