PT1445 Stuck again

Rant away JJ. My feelings weren't hurt, I assure you. In fact, I think that is the biggest problem that the good ole USA has in our day, to much "feelings" are being hung out from people, especially the "male" gender today.

As for "common sense" that is also not so common anymore (so I agree, a good manual would be of great help).

JJ I for one enjoy reading your posts and have got several ideas from you. I haven't had any problems with my pt that I haven't been able to handle yet, but if I did and couldn't find the answer in the books that I got with my machine then I am sure that I would have your opinion on it too. A lot of times though the manual is my last resort if I can't figure it out myself or find someone that has had a simmular problem then I get the books out. When I got my machine I took the demo and felt that the machine would not be that hard to repair, and I liked the layout of my machine, I got the model that has the tank in the hood that is metal, the ones that has plastic tanks in the engine compartment might be more cramped to work on. On mine when you lift the hood the gas tank is out of the way, and in my opinion makes it easier to refuel the machine.

Cracks me up! My PT1445 is now stuck, with no reverse, and I searched the forums for some information. Whaddya know? I find my very own posts on this forum.
To solve this thread - I had to install a new cylinder, refill the hydraulic system, and off I went. Now I just started my tractor after a month or two away and there was no reverse, only forward. Will call the factory, but I suspect it is just a stuck valve. No surprise there.
Thanks for all the help from the experienced hands here! Looks like I am well on my way to becoming much more experienced at PT1445 repairs than I ever planned or wanted to be.
