Raised kids, had dawgs, caats, cows, horses, goats, sheep, you name it, helped my folks die comfortably too. It is nice to see stuff come to life from time to time that require nothing more than consumption to make all participants happy !!!
It's a pale ale. Hoppy enough to strip paint and sweet enough to make you think twice about using it to do so ...
CHEERS !

Homebrew2,

Straight from the primary to the keg???

Wonder how many of our TBN brothers know what the picture is about?

Next thing you'll probbably be bragging about delivery of a new Pat's Easy Change or somthin'. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Man...I've got to get back into homebrewing...too bad you don't live closer...would love to have the opportunity to come over and fondle your grapple and sip your brew... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Homebrew,

I have a buddy in Washington State that makes great Homebrew. He has currently expanded his operation so that he can produce 1.5 bbl per run.

He sent me this pic and asked if I had room in my beer fridge to help him out of a jam.

I had to tell him no, I was currently at half capacity and looking to max out my own fridge when this when was done.

Besides, I am a Bud man. I asked him to make me a rice beer and he nearly took my head off. Some people are snobs /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So the Gold Country TBN get together is at your house, aye! 6 weeks you say, till it's keg conditioned.... That puts us at mid June /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

RobertN: Your proposal sounds good. Be advised, in homebrew circles I'm considered a tramp ... that keg will probably be empty in 6 weeks ... but another one will follow of course. My brew gets 5 days in the primary and a day or 2 of CO2 at 20# then it's turned loose in the cold cruel world /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Nice looking setup your friend has! You may be able to find a few pic of Henros setup on TBN recently ... very, very nice.

As further evidence of my, shall we say, non-traditional, beer philosophy, I split my consumption between the homebrew and cheep "diet" beer from Costco ... in cans, no less ... easier to carry in the small ice chest on the tractor /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Cheers!, and thanks for the pix.

I'll have to pick your brain about brewing in the syrup kegs. As soon as I finish our kitchen remodel, I plan to get back into brewing. I bought some of the syrup cans, CO2 tank and regulator back when I was brewing but I never got around to using them. I shudder at the thought of bottling again. That was always such a PITA.

Henro, I thought you might notice one of my brewing "shortcuts" /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

News travels fast on TBN /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

If we did live closer, it would be my pleasure indeed!

True that the cans can be easily and safely lugged from refer to chest but I have found that with my set-up all I need is an old two liter plastic Coke jug and an elastic strap for the Rops and I am good to tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Only problems I have encountered so far are curious two year olds who love to watch flowing liquids be they from the bathroom sink or Poppa's tap.
