You're a good dad Gearhead!

x2!! She's a cutie! Enjoy her while she's little!! My "little girls" are 21 and 23 now. Both out of the house and doing their own thing. It seems like yesterday I could hold both of them at the same time.

Thanks guys. My childhood wasn't the best, so I'm really conscious of making hers a great one... while trying not to spoil her too much. LOL I think things that keep her active are ok. So far she's got a one of a kind tree swing, trampoline, pool, and fourwheeler....as well as the usual bike, trike, skipping ropes, hula hoops, etc. I've got plans for a tree house... but that could get expensive real fast! We also have her in swimming, gymnastics and karate.

Well I've kind of given up on hauling gravel this fall. With the suitable weather window being so small, and spending all my free time (which is very, very limited) cutting firewood for next year's pool heating season and cleaning up my lot (big, big job... still downfall from huricane Juan), I've decided to continue with wood cutting and clean up until the season ends. Instead I've started putting $50/ pay aside and I'll be renting a machine next year to get 'er done... I was going to anyway, so why kill my back and take time away from something else for nothing?

Well, that's understandable. We'll just have to be patient... But don't forget to come back and update the thread when you can get back to working on the trail!

Went for a walk on the trail to feed Nemo today. Thought I'd put up some pics.

"Hey! Where's the bridge!?!" LOL

ALMOST!... but not quite.

We also leave a sand pail full of peanuts at the bottom of his tree :)

My pleasure Larro! I'm well on my way to having the money saved for a week's skid steer rental this summer... although I do have another weekend of jackhammering planned before that. I'll be sure to take lots of pic and vid. :)

I'll bet it is sooooo fun to run that trail with your tracked ATV!

LOL, yup it is. :)

When there's fresh snow it feels like you're floating.... nothing new to snowmobilers but I've never felt that before.

I posted some trail pics in the ATV section if you're interested.

Wish you were closer... you could borrow my skid loader and dump trailer (and tractor!) and have this done in a weekend :) Of course, doing it is most of the fun... the moment it's finished you will decide there will be trails between the existing trails, a gazebo, more camp spaces, etc. :)

It's amazing how much work you do with the trailer and shoveling by hand... I'd be worn out from that!

Great pics man, and keep up the good work...and my back still hurts just looking at your work. I don't post much anymore but I'm still subscribed to this thread and few others. (a new baby girl six months ago has kept me pretty busy. :))

Great pics. Everyone can use some help in the cold weather.

So that's where you've been, Jay. Congratulations!

Jay, congratulation on your new 'addition'. Are you sleeping through the night yet?

Boy, I wish you were closer too! LOL

I'm wore out too! It's kind of cool to do it by hand... but I'd like this done at some point. I'm starting into year 4 of this... and at this speed it could take another 4 or more. That's why I'll be renting a tracked skid steer. I'll be getting it for a week... hope that's enough. It's a 1 yard bucket, if I had to guess I'd say the gravel pile's 1,000' away from the trail, the trail's about 1,300' long, and I'm limited to 40hrs on the machine.

There's always another project to go to. This summer I plan to re-work my dump trailer, build my daughter a killer tree house, gather another two chord of firewood for the pool heater, and possibly build a chicken coop... not to mention finishing the yard and raised bed planter. I just figure no one's gonna do it for me!... another 7 years until I'm 40. Hope to get everything done by then. LOL :)

Thanks all and yes, at 11 weeks she started sleeping through the night 8-9 hours. You look like you have a great time with your girl. :)

Sounds like you have better luck than us, our 4 month old is still waking up every 2-3 hours (but he is in 12 month clothes)
