A 5-foot rear blade just barely covers the rear of my tractor, so I moved up to a 6-foot so I can plow easy even if blade is angled. Should I look for the the same sizing if I get a landscape rake? These can be angled as well, but is it as much an issue as a rear blade? Thanks!

Go with the biggest you can pull and fit into whatever spot you need it fit into. If you can drag a 6' blade you should have no problem with a 6' rake.

I agree, get one as wide as possible. Mine is six feet wide and I wouldn't want one any smaller. It's not so much for being outside the tires, but for picking up as much debri as possible. It's the greatest thing ever for cleaning up branches, around trees and along my roads, but it dosn't hold very much material. I have to make piles and then come back and pick them up. The more that I can hold in the rake, the less time it would take to get everything.

We use a Frontier 7' landscape rake with gauge wheels on a JD 3320. (the gauge wheels do not swivle 360 so you must lift it when backing)

I like the Woods brand better but the JD dealer delivers.

Angled the rake ends nicely get just outside the 5 foot width of the tractor when we tilt it to crown the driveway after mud season.

Our 59" snow blower needs max throttle, the rake we can normally pull at just above an idle on the sand & gravel driveway.

I have an 8 foot York rake for my 33 horse Allis d12 (gas) and can easily pull it even when moving processed gravel (heavy) I love the York brand, BUT, they are pricey. No matter what you get, get the adjustable gauge wheels or you're wasting your money, unless you never want to do finnish grading (lawns). If you're just going to clear areas of unwanted growth, you don't need the wheels. I've had mine for ten years and use it all the time.
