I did about 1/3 of this little job last summer. Took almost a month. Did the rest in about 4 days with my new tractor. And is was a lot less exhausting. Still pretty sore though.
This is a retaining wall in front of the house. The house is brand new (well almost a year old) We filled up at least 6 foot from grade. In front of this wall is a little man made pond. I am attaching a picture.
Yeah, that's irony for you. You try to get rid of the rocks and I am buying and scrounging them anywhere I can find em. So far 13 ton. I figure I need another 5 ton to finish this completely.
Did I hear that right? buying rocks! heck you can come over to my place and get all the ones you want for free! I've got them in all sizes to boot! Here is a photo of some I used a few weeks ago. Figured I had to justify the new tractor, so I added to my landscaping alittle.
Well Von if you really want to justify the tractor, try stacking them about 5 foot high. You'll get real good with the FEL and probably forget all the safety rules you picked up in the other forum.
