My brother-in-law just got a new 4330 with GST. It had alot of hesitation between gears. Noticed in the OM that you can program it through the intellipanel. Why would you want a hesitation between shifts?

I was unaware that the GST is programmable, as I did not see that in the manual and never read that comment in any of the forums here.
My 3130 has the same hesitation and is very jerky when the new gear kicks in, even when only changing one speed. Many other GST owners here on TBN have described the shifting as "smooth as silk," but I've yet to see it.
Hopefully, some of the experts can enlighten us.
