I purchased my tractor with 2 rear remotes and they have worked flawlessly
I recently added the third remote valve from Kubota myself
It works fine in one direction but only very weakly in the the other
The lever/valve action appears normal
I have dissembled the kit and checked to make there is nothing blocking the flow of hydraulic fluid and there is not
O rings are all in place
Any ideas/recommendations?

did you plumb the PB port of the 2 existing remote valve into the pressure port of the new valve?

You might get more responses in the hydraulic forum...

The 3rd remote valve piggy backs onto the 2 existing valves

Are you mixing quick connect types (poppet and ball)? Sometimes that does not go well.

I do have implements with both types but it is consistently weak with all in one direction
The other direction is fine

Depending on the tractor, it could be a linkage issue only letting one side of the valve completely open all the way and need adjusted more.I had the nuts slide of the bracket in the cab of the 7040 and it would operate one way fine and slow the other. I had to readjust the lock nuts to re-center the handle for it to fully open all the way. If it’s not that it could be the tractor side coupler the ball could be stuck on it. If you swap couplers on the valve block and it operates slow the other way, the ball is stuck on the tractor side quick connect.

You might have ordered a single acting valve. If the valve has a little lever on the opposite side of the spool that might need to be flipped the other way to allow double acting function.

Without knowing what Tractor you have and which valve was purchased it is difficult to know what is happening.

I don't think there is any way to adjust the valve but I will take a closer look because what you wrote makes sense
I also might try swapping the couplers
Thank you for your suggestions

It's an L4740 and yes I do have the correct part
It is identical to the two that were installed at the factory

It's a float valve?

Shouldn't be an SCV.

Maybe unhook the lever cable and operate the valve by hand and check results?
