Hi everone,

I have moved from the expensive NHs to looking at Kiotis. My brother strongly reccomends these tractors and I am thinking about heading to the dealer. I was wondering what a CK25 with a MMM would cost. No HST, manual, and nothing else but the MMM.

I wanted a price before I decide to go to the dealer. Thanks for all the help.

Have the prices been posted here yet? The dealers should have them by now as they were just released, but I don't remember seeing them posted here yet.

( Have the prices been posted here yet? ) No, the dealers won't post them per their agreements with Kioti. If anyone else has gotten prices from dealers, they can post them if they want to. Contact a dealer if you want to get prices, as they supposedly have them in their hot little hands now. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Keep in mind that until you're really making a deal, you may get higher prices than you would when actually buying. Thanks, John

These is apparently how we price them.

Pay the list price then give the FEL and MMM away.

Ohhh is this sour grapes or rotten apples.

I am having another "out of body experience "

( HUH?) I think Bigtractor was tired of being bargained with that day. People really try to get one down to the last penny sometimes, thus the "sell at list and give the loader and MMM" comment. Don't think a dealer could last long doing that. John

My Gut says: How bout a reality check for future Kioti buyers. With only a LITTLE variation, the new CK HST models, I'm predicting will retail for the same money as the blue, green and the other orange models of compartive sizes.

Kioti is poised to enter the majors. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I think in general, they will still be very competitive. After all, there is a lot of competition out there besides those you named. As long as the others are vying for position, there are too many that could knock Kioti down if their pricing gets too high. John

I will be surprised to see where this ends up. I am expecting it to be a bit high to really be competitive. From what I have been hearing floating around importing tractors is becomming much less profitable because of current exchange rates. Its hitting some companies much harder than others. I wonder if Kioti has the volume to hold the cost down.

A bit off topic:

I've checked with a couple of Kioti dealers in the mid-Atlantic area for a quote on a CK30HST w/KL130 loader. They have given me FULL list price as their best offer (plus what I think is expensive delivery) and they won't even pass to me the rebate if and when it is made available on this model

At this point I'm almost ready to take it up the tailpipe and go back to the local Kobota dealer (had a problematic L235 for years that I bought new from them). The only other alternative is a very long-distance relationship with a Kioti dealer that is willing to work with me on the $.

Is this just typical pricing for the region or most Kioti dealers in general?

Thumper - Im sorry to hear about you problems with the Kioti dealer in your area. This is not the practice at most Kioti dealerships, and it is not the practice here at mine. Is this just one kioti dealer you have talked to quoting list price or a couple in your area?

John ... Kioti in order to survive, will have to set their sites on market share - meaning going after the throat of JD, Kubota and CNH ... they will not spend time and money worring about the slew of other mfgs. They've got green orange and blue sites on their marketing guns.

Its a two edged sword. The cost/quality aware public will pay for an equal or superior product and the manufacture will not discount what he believes to be an equal or superior product. Simple supply side economics. Kioti may have been a good discounted value 2 years ago, but their product has improved noticibly and those days I suspect are long gone.

Another way to look at it ... if their product withstands the qualitative scrutiny of the other big 3, they can't make money selling it for less than their competitors.

If it is not quite as good a product and command retail or NEAR retail pricing that matches the big 3, then their product will sit around on lots dry rotting.

My opinion ...
