Thinking of selling my tractor and going bigger, and getting a cab, wondering what I might be able to get for it. I was unable to find any pricing guides or anything.

It's a 2005 L5030 HST, la853 loader w/ skidsteer plate and 72" bucket, and filled R3's. has 60 hours on it and looks great.

Have you talked with your dealer about trading it in? If you got a good deal on it to start with I would think you might be able to sell it within 2-3k of what you paid. One of the problems is a buyer can't get as good of financing on a used tractor.

I haven't yet, I was hoping to get a ballpark figure so I could determine if it is feasable or not. I'm thinking I might just look into an aftermarket cab also and see where that takes me. Although the factory cab would be soo nice.

I got a 5030HSTC with box blade, 853 FEL, heavy duty bucket, QA plates, FEL hay spike with 260 hrs on it for $24,000 and change in Texas from a non Kubota dealer 2 years ago. Fellow who owned it before me decided it wasn't the tractor for him, but it IS for me. He traded it in, added some $$, and got something bigger.

Since you are relatively new to TBN, there seems to be significant price differences in different parts of the country for the same vehicle.

Yeah, I have noticed the differences. Been lurking around for awhile, checking out price quotes. I really do love my tractor, but I would like to have a cab, and while the HST is really nice most of the time, there are other times that I wish I had a GST trans.

Sounds like you would be happier with a new tractor with factory cab.. The money you would spend on an aftermarket cab (not sure they have AC) may make a trade-in a better option. Note that the Grand L series are due out with a new revised version later this year so you may want to sell your tractor before the new models arrive.
