i'm also looking at a 2002 JD 4410 w 430 FEL (630 hrs) for $12500. cant decide what to do.

any input would be great. i'm leaning towards the used JD 4410 or the bobcat.

I've got a Deere 4400 with the reverser transmission. This one is just about the same as the 4410 with a few less electronics.
Powerwise, the 4400 and 4410 are equivalent to the Deere 3520 (but no turbo).
Good tractors, the 44xx machines, so that's a good one to lean toward. Downside, of course, is no warranty. But these tractors have a good reputation for dependability. There were a couple of service bulletins on them, IIRC. One was for a fogging of the instrument cluster...forget what the other one was.

look at the New hOlland Boomer 30 or 35 you can get a boomer 30 4x4 with loader for $17,625 or a boomer 35 for $19,595 cash. were are you located? these tractors have a 4 cylinder engine, the tractor by themselves weigh over 3000# and other nice features.

well NH is pretty much the same price and is a heavier built tractor, has a 4 cylinder motor and other nicer standrard features.

the last time i priced a NH it was an 8n boomer w/fel for $36,000.an they wouldnt even bother to come down on it,so i walked off.an when i got ready to buy a tractor i didnt even bother calling them.

well of course, the Boomer 8N is a "special" deal , you can get a 55 hp, 4x4 with loader for at least $9000 less. You an compare the 8N to the other tractors NH has. The 8N isnt gonna be produced forever either.

yes you are exactly right. that is why we only ordered one Boomer 8n and finally sold it a few weeks ago. yes for a few thousand more you could have got a 4x4 cab with loader
