May have found the tractor but need a price check.

2014 JD 5065E (open station, MWFD)
553 loader
MX6 rotary cutter
hood guard
loaded rears with water/antifreeze

$37930. Do they have more room to negotiate on that price?

Then that sounds like a pretty fair price to me. I haven't priced new tractors in awhile but I know that power reverser equipped tractors hold their value very well and that wet clutch is great. I'm guessing the mx6 is around $2800?

If they won't negotiate any see if they'll throw in a weight bumper or canopy or something like that. Can't hurt to try.

Yes, MX6 was quoted at 2900. The tractor quotes at 30950 on the JD website and the tractor price I was quoted was around 29000. Loader at around 6000. Seems they could a little better if the norm is 15% off MSRP (so I've been told).

I agree there should be some wiggle room. I was just adding up all the options in my head and estimating. Do you have any
Other dealers to get quotes from near you?

Not really. This is the only dealer that makes sense. I've looked up a lot of comps from other dealers in other states that post online, and my quote is several thousand dollars off (on the tractor and loader at least)
