Mice built a nest in the heater of my wife's Beretta. I discovered it when the air conditioner got to where it wouldn't put out any cool air. We don't drive the car in the winter because it's too low to the grouind. I took the heater motor and blower out but in order to do that the alternator had to come off, etc. What a mess. The nest was made with insulation--probably from the car. I got it cleaned out with a shop vacuum, and the smell is slowly receeding. It's a nasty job.

Geez, you just reminded me of a similar problem we had when we first moved into our house.

Danged mice built a nest into the A/C/Heating system of our Taurus wagon and caused a royal mess. Cost us $500 bucks to fix it!!! Made the entire system unusable. House insurance paid for the damage (minus deductable of course). /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
