Pre heater issues

Hey everyone,
Mew to the forum but I've owned a kioti ck2610 for 2 years now and its never started right in the cold. Took it to the dealer amd they said there was a recall on the controller for the grid heater and glow plugs. They changed that and its still the same. I dug into it myself a bit and found that the pre heater isn't turning on. The fuse is good, all connections are good, bench tested the relay for it and thats good. Its like the controller isn't sending the signal to close the relay.
I've told my dealer this and they have no clue what's wrong and either does kioti when they contact them. They keep giving me new controllers to try. Im on controller number 5 and still no luck. The pre heater does work as I jumped it straight off the battery and it turns on.
I know I can wire in a switch to run the relay and make it work but I really dont want to do that on a new tractor.
Anyone have this issue?

The Intake Air Heater only comes on after the tractor is started, i.e. has a signal from the alternator. If the Heater is not coming on after start, as soon as the engine starts, take your foot off the clutch and turn the key to start one more time. Taking your foot off the clutch assures the starter motor won't run, but sends the signal to the controller to turn on the Air Intake Heater while it is receiving an alternator signal. We have found this little trick helps the CK26XX and CX2510 tractors start better cold.

The Glow Plugs and Timer are actuated with key "on", the Air Intake Heater is not. It's just a quirk in the controller logic.
