Hi,
There is a small piece of land near my home and I bought it recently. I want to build a car garage there. I have heard about pre-engineered steel buildings being used for garages. But I don't know much about its cost and maintenance. I would like to know your suggestions on this. Are they more durable and long lasting? Please help. Thanks.

A pole barn is probably cheaper. They use the same skin and roof. Beware of water condensation on the inside of the metal panels for either can be a problem w/o good ventilation through the structure. I have seen the insulation fall down due to the weight of accumulated water in it. The best install still leaves areas that allow moisture to condense on the skin.
