Prayers for Grandson

Grandson turns 3 in May tipped his chair back last evening .
Hit a pan he and his brother had been playing with ,now has a 1 1/2" cut and 5 staples in back of his head.
Only complains today when he has to have diaper changed , says back of head hurts, doesn't remember going to hospital
Touch little guy !!

Had 3 staples in my forehead when I was a kid. The only lasting effect that I know of is a 1.5" scar. Kids and heads are pretty tough.

I took a baseball bat to the head when I was a kid. Considering how mischievous I was, that in itself may have been an answer to someone's prayer.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

You can count me among those praying for the little guy.

Well just off the phone from talking to my daughter
Grandson is doing good ,,, If you ask him about what he hurt last night ,he holds up his finger and says see hurt my finger..has a bandage on for a paper cut 2 days ago..

He's doing alright ,and Pappy is doing much better

Should have said this was this summer at the beach, I was listening to oldies on my ipod so he climbed up and I put my earplug in his ear and we listened to music for about 30-45 min.

Glad to hear the little guy is doing okay. Fortunately, kids have the ability to take some pretty good knocks on the noggin.

Just got off phone with daughter and Grandson is doing great.. We are planning on making trip to Martinburg this weekend to give some big hugs ,to both of the grandsons..
Oldest one was a big help to mommy while she was trying to get some help from there neighbors and waiting for the ambulance.

Yup, glad he's alright. Kids are pretty tough.
I got more stitches in my head than a soccer ball, got to be a regular routine, I'd come home and tell my mother I think I need a band-aid and she'd take a look and say nope, you need stitches.

He has my prayers. As others said it crazy how much tougher and injury resistant they are compared to us old guys. I could feel my body, especially my shoulders and back, start to tell me I was doing too much as soon as I hit 35.

I am sure he will be fine. Probably scared you and his folks more than it did him.

As I have stated before ,,, he still doesn't remember anything about that evening...Which is good in a way, Just hope on Sunday when they take him in to have them removed..
I let everyone know how it goes.

He and his brother are both tough guys . He weighted 4#10oz his older brother 2# 8oz Never one had any operations.. Amyone living in the Winchester,Va area and needs a hospital...We can give a 150% report that Winchester Medical Hosp is the tops ...

Less than 2 min in hosp and 5 staples removed and on our way...Could not believe how fast they took us ..Carried him in hosp, started to take him and set down waitng for a long wait, ,Was told bring him in room, set him on bed , the nurse has pliers in hand and snip 5 times all done.. You can go home now...

He's doing fine, running through the house, and ready to spend a wk or 2 with pappy and grandma..

My yougest is the same age. It tears you up when they get hurt, but like you said, they're tough!
