i have a woods backhoe that i am going to be mounting on a kubota L3710. a dealer tells me that all i have to do is to take the power beond connection going to the loader apart and series the backhoe connections with it. he said the PB is marked green. i was able to find this and it looks easy to do. is this the best way to go?

thanks

Yes, provided the tractor hydraulics have enough flow to power the hoe. Else a PTO mounted pump.

I run a Rhino 85 BH on my L5030HSTC in that manner. Zero problems.

Using the power beyond is probably the best/most cost effective way to power your hoe, just make sure you do not start the tractor with the PowerBeyond "loop" disconnected or you can damage your hydraulic pump.

Power beyond is a good option simple solution, but as others said make sure you always close the the hydraulic loop and as with all hydraulics keep the connectors free of dirt.
