There are several threads here regarding the power sweeper, including one by smartguys describing a problem with storing it. It might be worth you while to search for them, if you already haven't done so.

I have one of these beasts. It is designed primarily for sweeping hard surfaces. I would personally NOT try to use it for sweeping leaves nor for dethatching. I use a tow-behind dethatching rake on my 425, and for the leaves, I use a bagging mower. I used to have a cool little Snapper high-lift mower (GREAT for picking stuff off the lawn, but it died 
)
I think that at a minimum you would need draft control and some offset casters to even attempt using it on soft surfaces like the lawn. As it is, you'd nuke your lawn if you tried.
