Does anyone have this filter or a cross-reference # ?
Removed some fluid & filter from the PS Reservoir
The filter was in a spring-loaded plastic cylinder & was very, very dirty
I suspect very little fluid was going thru this filter
I'll post some pictures this evening
Thanks, David

Thanks for reply Tommy,
After closer inspection, I see it's a screen filter & I cleaned it up pretty good, but it came apart.
Some kind of adhesive on the closed end, I think I'll try a dab of some epoxy like "Liquid Steel"
The bottom of the reservoir was dirty so I removed it & cleaned it up too
Thanks again,

It looks like it had some water in the oil at some point. After cleanup I would suggest a flush out of system with clean oil prior to reinstalling the filter.

Thanks Gary,
Yea, When I saw the crud & rust on the bottom of the filter, I suspected water.
Other than being a little dark , the old fluid did not look like it had water in it,
actually looked like 90wt or something pretty thick.
I suspect previously fluid got low, (Looked like a hose at bottom of reservoir had leaked) & heavy weight oil was added
A little condensation & rain & snow probably let moisture in system
I removed the reservoir & cleaned it & the filter
For sure, system needed a good cleaning, just now I drained every thing, purged the cylinder & ran/cycled some kerosene thru system.
I am letting all drain again & air dry & will put new iso32 in it, run it a little while, drain & fill again
Hope my PS works better, for sure the PS system needed attention
Thanks, DAVID

It's a typical hydraulic reservoir suction strainer, but since there are a gazillion different sizes and combinations, it's going to take some time.

I have contacted & sent diagram to several of those filter mfrs. & distrbutors.
Wix & Baldwin have replied with emails
Hopefully next week will bring results
I did find one for a fork lift that was real close, just too wide for the plastic tube
I did take the old one apart & cleaned it up to almost new condition
Still planning on running tractor a little then drain & flush again

Cleaning a paper filter like that weakens the paper. It's formulated for contact with a specific fluid. Assuming you cleaned it with either kerosene or soap & water, you now face the risk of the paper disintegrating on the job. If you must run the tractor before obtaining the correct replacement filter, it's better to run with no filter at all.
