Power port question

/ Power port question #11
I guess my point is, if you do stick with 3/8ths hose into a SAE10 opening, even with the restriction inside do you really think it is an area for concern with that hose size? My setup is a little different from your in that I'm definetely running 1/2 hose into those ports but I think I can do it with 45s instead of 90s which I think are less restrictive. In any event I'm plan on using the non restricted openings except as a last resort. I'm still short one bulkhead fitting from Disc. Hose; you must have depleted the market.

It wasn't me hording the bulkhead fittings. I haven't ordered mine yet. I was giving my local guy the chance but he didn't have the JIC-NPT fittings I wanted so I still do need to order some.

I think I will measure for hoses to replumb the whole thing using 1/2" versus just adding on with 3/8" and see what the price difference is. I also measured things and I can run the input hose around the back of the valve so I can easily use the side port if I want.
