- Kioti LB2204
Hi there
Looking forward to getting involved with this community, and thank you in advance for tolerating a question from a newbie.
I have just bought my first tractor, a Kioti LB2204 with a front loader that is probably about 35-40 years old. In great condition and low hours but obviously parts and documentation is a bit scarce. I am pretty competent with vehicles generally, even hydraulics, but trying to figure out the connections for my Power Beyond valve to run a log splitter and other attachments from the rear of the tractor.
I have identified that the loader control unit has a PB outlet and that already has a connection to it (first photo.) The pipe from that connection seems to just route straight back to the hydraulic pump (middle connection on the second photo.) I had assumed it would just be a hose that is capped off and the fact that it is routing back to right where it came from is confusing me.
Is this just so that it creates a closed loop system when there is no implement attached? I'm assuming that to use the PB output then I disconnect this hose from the hydraulic pump, connect it to my implement and then route the output from the attachment back to the hydraulic pump (or in some cases like a post pounder route it back to the tank fill point for fast egress of oil.)
Is that how this all works, or am I missing something?
Thanks all
Mark
