Poulan Pro Lawn Tractor

Does anyone know anything about these lawn tractors, a friend was looking to buy one (used), I guess it's 22hp, comes with a mower, grass catcher and snow blower. It's 6 or 7 years old. The guy is asking $2500 Canadian.

Is this a good tractor ? Any imput would be passed on.

That seems like a lot of money. How much would a comparable Sears tractor cost new?

I don't know just what the exchange rate is now, so I'm not sure how much $2500 Canadian would be in U.S. currency, and I'm not sure what model Poulan Pro you are talking about, but is it similar to this one with a 22 hp engine? I liked my Poulan chain saws, but when I looked at the Poulan riding mowers, I was not impressed with what I saw. So it just seems to me that either there's something more that we don't know or the price of that used one is very high.

Of course I know nothing about snow blowers, except that they're not cheap. So maybe the price is reasonable because of that.

Canadian dollar is worth about 88 cents right now, making that price about $2200 USD. Poulan Pro=Craftsman=Husqvarna, basically all one in the same tractors. If that is one of the upper end Poulans with the accessories, it might be worth that much, condition would tell everything. I'm thinking more like $1500 USD would sound more right, the fact is the Husqvarna brands (although not bad machines) are not the best as far as resale value.
