Florida, as soon as the cabbage comes out, the potatoes go in, so late Jan or so. That's a bit east of me, on the east side of the St Johns river, and they get less frosts, and last frost is earlier. Big thing is, you got to squeeze into that post frost date, but before the heat really gets going, and that is the bone dry time of the year. Once the taters are out, it's corn time.
