Why do my posts/replies not immediately show up?

How are you looking for them? If this was a general problem, a lot more people would have been complaining a long time ago.

You have to back completely out of the thread you're in after you replied. When you go back in it should be there. At least that's what I do.

I don't have to back out. I just click on the reply icon, type my message as I am now, click post quick reply and the page automatically refresh's showing my post. Might you have cookies, java or something blocked in your security settings that is restricting the automatic page reload.

I don't know what I may have. I know I clear all cookies, temp files etc. whenever I get offline. I have antivirus, firewall, anti spam etc. that I know are doing their job. I've always had to back out then bring up the post again since I first posted. All I know is that's what I have to do.
I'm trying the quick reply on this msg to see if that works like you say. Usually I click at the top left of page to post reply.

That's what it was. If I use quick reply I see my post right away. Using the post reply method I have to get out of the thread then go back in to see it. You learn something new every day. Thanks
