Depends on how much use you are going to give it and soil conditions. I have a couple items from TSC that are ok, but they are non-powered (no pto). When I bought my PHD it came from Bush Hog and can handle a 24" auger. I don't think the TSC one can handle larger than 12", you may want to check that. The big thing to compare would be gear box rating and output shaft diameter, that may be what limits there unit to a 12" auger. Good luck.

I bought the Countyline PHD from Tractor Supply and it works great! I bought the 9" auger and set a bunch of 4" and 6" post for a penned in area for our chickens. It worked flawlessly. Make sure you get a few extra shear pins, it happens... The unit has a 1 year warranty and is of good construction. I am in the Adirondacks and the soil is FULL of rocks of all sizes. I only had to move 1 hole location. It cleared some good sized rocks out of the hole without difficulty. I was extremely pleased.

Sounds like you would be ok with the TSC one. The 2 bottom plow I have from there has held up well.
