- Kubota B2910 w Curtis Cab & Kubota BX1500
I just got a new B2910 (trading in a B7500 that I have owned for a couple of years). I notice that the rear 3-point hitch is all the way down when the position control lever is only down to #2, rather than all the way to the bottom of the scale. Does this sound right, and does anyone know how to adjust the position control so that the 3-point hitch bottoms out at the same point as the control lever hits the bottom of the scale? May well be spelled out in the owner's manual and I would admit that I haven't had a chance to read it yet.
On a related point, I also notice that my MMM goes from the fully down on the ground to the fully lifted up under the tractor position by moving the position control lever only between ## 8 and 9 on the position control scale. I'm guessing that this can probably be adjusted somewhat by making some sort of adjustment to the 3-point hitch arms. Does this situation sound right, and any suggestions regarding adjustments are very much appreciated. What I am thinking (based on the way the height of my MMM was controlled by the 3-point hitch lever on my B7500) is that I would prefer to have the new MMM on my B2910 be lifted and lowered over a larger portion of the position control scale (say, between ##6 and 9, or between ##7 and 9).
Any words of wisdom much appreciated! Peter
