I need some help. I have had my 4310 for about 2 months and for the past 2 or 3 weeks I have heard a very loud popping sound coming from the right rear under very heavy driving loads, like using the box blade or loading the FEL with dirt. It sounds like the gear is not fully engaging the wheel or axle. Before I go to the dealer I was wondering if anyone has had or heard of this problem. It's an E power-reverser if that makes a difference

Have you that checked that your lug nuts are tight?

This is a perfect reason to have a backhoe... You can use the stabilzers to raise the rear and check things out...

Sorry, no better help here...

I knew somebody would tell me to check the most obvious things first and I will check that tomorrow. Thanks for making me look at the simple things!

Chevy,
I went out and checked the lug nuts and sure enough they were all loose on the right rear wheel. After close inspection I found that the paint under the washers had been marked up where the wheel was moving.
Great Call
thanks again

Your welcome.
I am glad to hear it was that simple.
