Pop-up ads

I know you guys have to pay the bills, but let me be the first to denounce the pop-up ads I saw when I connected today. Ads on the page are understandable, but pop-up ads are not only annoying, but cumbersome. I got one when I hit tractorbynet and then another when I went to the forums section. Why all of a sudden? Please reconsider this type of advertising. Thanks.

They are both cookie controlled---you see them only once.

Over the past few years, we have from time to time used pop-ups to announce new products and special promotions. But we have never accepted pop-up ads from outside advertisers, and don't intend to start.
