Poly Cutting / Wear Edges

I understand the main advantage of poly edges are to reduce damage and that the run quieter. Does anyone have any experience on how well they clean? Do they perform well in both packed snow and ice and wet slushy snow?

Mine works well for everything except for either hard packed snow (been driven over multiple times) or ice. Sometimes I can clear off the hard packed snow with enough down pressure but ice is pretty much impossible.
