polaris atv flooding out

Hey everyone.
I have a polaris magnum 425 4 stroke and just recently it developed this problem. When I drive it for more than 15-20 minutes it reeks of gas bad (even when it sits) and starts to run ruff and then it bogs down and dies. an hour later it starts on the second crank, runs perfect and I drove it into the barn. I DID shut the gas valve off just incase it was leaking somewhere that I couldn't see. About a year ago the fuel line was leaking and the local polaris dealer replaced it.

First guess is a stuck needle valve..Take the fuel line off of the carb and blow carb cleaner back there and see what happens..Could also be a slightly somewhat sunk float.

Seafoam it,,,pour some in tank and run it,,,cures some carb problems overnight..

Sometimes the vent in the gas cap gets plugged and won't vent. Next time it dies slowly loosen your gas cap and listen for air pressure releasing. If the tank is building pressure that can cause problems.
