Polaris 250

I have a 2001 Polaris explorer 250 4x4 that I am thinking about selling. It is a 2 cycle so that could hurt the value. It is in excellent shape have been used very little. It has had about 1-2 tanks of gas ran through it each year.

Any idea what I could get for it? I was thinking about asking $3500.

I need a bigger trailer for my tractor and was going to put this towards a gooseneck.

One of the online auto sale guides (edmunds, kbb or nadaguide) has ATV prices. Take a look there.

Actually, the best way I've found to get accurate pricing is to check out the ones that have sold on e-bay (use the advance search feature and click on "completed items only"). That gives a true picture of what people are willing to pay.

Hunterridge, You can always come down in price , but you can't go up...

Try your add and see how many reply's you get ,if none your too high.....Then drop your price

But IMO I think your starting out a little on the high side.

A few months ago I sold a 2 stroke 2001 Polaris 400 in mint condition with a snow blade and 4 WD for just over $3000 on ebay for what it is worth.
