applies to poison OAK but I believe its very similar. Note there are only certain times in the growing cycle that roundup is effective.
I had about 9 acres of poison oak and have slowly fought back the tide. eight years later, there are still large areas I havn't dared yet tread. Some of the poison oak vines are as big around as my arm. I'm considering opening a poison oak museum and charging admisson.

Sometimes it goes the other way too. When I was in my teens I was highly alergic, it would spread all over once I got it. I'd have it a month or more.

I still get it every year because I love to be outside and in the woods, but now it's only a quarter-sized spot that doesn't get any worse and goes away in a week or two.

I've found several Brush Killers, including Round Up Brush Killer to work with one applicaiton

2-4-D. Works great, costs much less than roundup.
