Thanks for the help, the hoe isn't going to be used a whole lot. If I think the lines are getting to warm, I will try running the return to my fill. For that I guess I would have to take the fitting off the return hose. Where would I need to install the hyd gauge?
I thought you told me your AUX valves were detented, Don. What's with
the bungee cord?
Anyway, you can (and should) test your pressure, and you can do this
easily at any hose on the hoe with a simple adapter. I like to use the
easiest one to get at and read while operating that circuit. I usually cap
the open cylinder port, but that is not really necessary if the piston is
at the end of its travel and you are doing the test right away.
If your hoses are getting warm, but you can still put your bare hand on them,
you are probably OK. Mine get pretty warm, too, using the AUX circuit, and
that is not the ideal way to connect up a hoe.
