Better to have two tractor, and a new, larger pole barn. But, since we don't seem to have any snow, who cares. At least I know I can dig post holes when the weather gets more pleasant to work outside.

Will you have a pole barn built or do it yourself? Nothing like have a large building for your stuff.

Guys, my 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer just might haul the plow, but what about the tractor?? You will pick it up? And, I ain't gonna see a new barn. We have a pole barn/shop/garage, but with a 7' high door. Same problem with the barn... no way to make the door higher (I didn't build it- just re-built it) so a cabbed tractor simply isn't in my future. If we move, I'd be voting for an even warmer climate. Of course, if we stay, the climate is warming up anyway, but I am almost 70, so I still expect some snow, sooner or later.

There's always a way.

You could "lower" the ground where your "cabbed" tractor pulls in.

Somehow, I don't think that would work so well. Could turn into a mud pit. Plus, the foundation, a conc. footer/wall, runs straight thru where I'd have to excavate. Could do it... but not going to. Anyway, I appreciate all the concern.
