I am going to get a L3240 or L3540. I want to add the following options/implements:
-- FEL
-- TNT
-- rear blade
-- maybe a front blade for snow plowing (especially if I can get a QA). I do not want a blower.
--maybe a post hole digger
Uses will be snow plowing and gravel grading a 1000 foot mostly steep driveway, moving dirt around now and then, bush hogging a 6 acre, very hilly horse pasture, moving 6-8 foot tree trunk sections to the woodpile, picking up brush, some trail maintenance. Other than the pasture work, no mowing.
I want as much (preferably 100%) of all the hydraulics/valves/remotes installed by the dealer while I壇 love to learn about it sometime, I must confess that after hours and hours of reading the posts here I still don稚 understand the entire hydraulic thing. And while I have great respect for all of those that do their own options add ons, I have so little time that the amount of money that might be saved is not enough to justify figuring everything out.
One problem I have is that the closest local dealer is not very good (I don稚 know anyone who buys anything there). The next 3 dealers are all almost 2 hours away and are a bit better, but I will have to be VERY exact in what I ask for or else I don稚 think they will know what to do (I asked one dealer to explain to me about diverters/solenoid options for hydraulics, and he didn稚 know anything about them). Most of these dealers are just order takers.
So here are my questions:
Do I need the LA2231 轍uick coupler for Quick Attach buckets? (I知 still confused about quick couple vs QA, though I致e read the posts)
Is the 禅hird Function Valve option (L2225) for the Grand L series what I need to run a grapple? If so, do I need anything else, or does this include some kind of switch/button for the loader control joystick?
What would be the easiest Toothbar to put on the 66 inch HD bucket?
I assume I need 2 rear remotes for the Top-N-Tilt kit?
Should I get double acting or FD Float detent for the rear remotes?? Am I correct in assuming that a float will help me plow snow/grade with the rear blade?
Do Kubota hydraulics come with check valves? If not do I need them, and how should I order them?
Does anyone know if all the L40 series being shipped now come with the redesigned front seat (the one that doesn稚 slope so far forward?)
So here is my order list so far, recognizing it may change given answers to the above:
Tractor with HST
Loader: LA723
QA for loader: LA2231
Bucket: 66 in HD round back L2239
Top/Tilt kit L8326 (with tilt cylinder on left side)
Joystick fender mount L2223
Rear Remote hydraulics: Base kit L8305 with either L8303 or L8304
Second rear remote: L8306, with either L8303 and L8304
R4 tires (or maybe ags, still can稚 decide) with Rim guard
Grapple: bucket grapple. Any suggestions for which one?
Toothbar: which one?
Anything else I知 missing?
Thanks!
