Does it, tho? Let's have another thread: How many people have you known "personally", who died from COVID-19...but who also had heart disease, diabetic complications, kidney disease, cancer, stroke, etc, which would have done them in anyways. Sooner than later.

"How many people do you know who were totally healthy and then got the vid and died?" Let's answer that, coz so far only a few people posting in this thread made such a claim.
Me first: I don't personally know anybody, who personally knows anybody, who that happened to. I'm sure it does though. People get bitten by sharks and hit by lightning, too.

My Dad had COPD for years but was still working and getting by until he got Covid. He passed away 2 weeks later.

My brother told me that Dad did not die from Covid it was COPD that killed him. No doubt Dad would have lived longer and continued to work if he had not gotten Covid. So what did my Dad die from?

I asked my brother if Dad was shot would he blame COPD for his death or would he want the guy that shot him to be held responsible? At the end of the day, Dad is gone so whatever helps my brother deal with that is fine by me but I say Dad died from Covid.

This is why I hate this has become such a political issue. It is what it is regardless what some want to believe.

2 for sure. 3 others that died quickly from "pneumonia" in the middle of the summer. I put it quotes because they were adamantly against covid being real. All were elderly but still up and moving around.

Agreed. It's a pretty safe bet that if I hadn't moved 700 miles from where I lived the first 60 years of my life my answer would have included a higher number. I expect there are acquaintances back home no longer with us that I simply didn't hear about.

Two people known personally... Plus, Wife is still struggling with multiple hospitalizations since October. Long Haul Covid is a thing.

All are 60+ of age.

I deleted the posts that didn't quote a #, that left 101 posts reporting deaths. In those 101 posts, 130 deaths were reported. That would indicate 1.29 deaths per member average.

Again, I think this is a very low # considering the audience. I'm actually surprised by that.

I'm <40, so should skew the number lower, but I only know one person.

The numbers hold up. Math is a hard thing to shake and we have a big enough sample that if everyone on TBN answered, the average would still hover around 2.
