I put an edge on the quick spade. It can easily cut thru several inches of roots. Makes a good root ball for transplanting. Fits both bucket or forks with the combo model. Even with backhoes it is the preferred tool for orchard or blueberry patch work. Can cut thru small trees just below ground level and don’t usually grow back. Great for clearing under fence lines.
