After my first post about rear remotes, I have been considering using diverter valves from the FEL Quick Connects to control the stump grinder. Does anyone think this would be a bad idea?

If your FEL valve has regen, I would bungee the valve lever to the tilt up side.

Why do you not want to use the rear remotes?

I was just thinking it would be easier and cheaper to use the valve already installed. I will use the regen to return the grinding wheel back to start position. I have one rear remote already, and will use it for top link. If I use the diverter plan, I can use it for a grapple also, and not have to install both a valve and diverter.
