You need to get your bucket chromed and a set of curb feelers installed, then get a 'bowling ball' paint job.
You would be the talk of the woods.

Puttin' lights like that on a Mahindra is kinda like polishin' a turd, if you ask me!(even if you don't):D :D

I have almost as much fun bashing fords:D as I do bashing deeres:D , so I can take one too now and again. Deere makes a good product, but they are easy to pick on because they are overpriced and enjoy a little more brand recognition/loyalty than they deserve. BTW- I wasn't bashing deeres with the yellow lights comment. I was just saying If I had one, it would need yellow lights, If I had a NH I would put blue lights under it.

I got a deere hat for christmas from my BIL (works at a Deere Dealer), I actually wore it last night. ( I needed something to keep the dirt of my hair crawling around under the tractor adding more lights.) :D

I added two more lights under the operators platform. One is wired up. I also got wires pulled to the back on the left side to power one last pair. The wiring to the back is running in the same plastic sheath I used for the aux headlights I mounted on the ROPS a couple years ago. I installed my fuse last night. I ran out of wire last night or the middle set would be done. I tested the system again when I finished for the night, It is going to look great. :D :D

I will post more pictures after I finish the center lights.

I'm not a big fan of chrome, But I am thinking about pin stripes or possibly a custom paint job on the hood.

Mboulais: Just jerking your chain a little. I'm definitely no fan of Deere, either. I used to work on all types of tractors, and Mahindra inherited the bad reputation that IH earned in its British built tractors. I just like to stir things up a bit, still a troublemaker at heart. Dave:D :D

Now you need some chrome rims with the skinny little rubber-band tires on it. Maybe they can be spinner rims... :)

Oh, boy. Visions of the all-steel wheels that the Amish still use on tractors in Lancaster County, PA... that might actually work, y'know!

I don't know where or when Mahindras or british built IH's had a bad reputation. Most people on here seem very pleased with their Mahindra tractors. I know I am, I would buy one again without even looking at the competion's offerings. As far as british buit IH's, I had an international 384. It was a good tractor too.

I did this to scare the neighbors. Problem is that the tractor is so weird looking they think it is a stock feature...

Mboulais- Just for informational purposes, the entire British line of IH tractors (those that were built in England) was sold to the Indian company Mahindra. They bought all of the original tooling, and lots of parts, too. That's why, on the first Mahindra tractor model produced, the 1300(?) had a big B-275 cast on the torque tub (Its so wide, it looks like a tub, not a tube), same torque tub as was on the International model B-275. If you don't believe me, google it. I sure hope the get better than those originals were!:D

I believe you, The hoods off some of the Mahindra's fit some older IH's. I just didn't have a lot of problems with my British IH. Of course its electrical and fuel system had been modified before I owned it. My mahindra is actually made in a TYM plant, It's not one of the ones based on the IH tractors.

These pics aren't the greatest. Both with the garage lights off. One with flash, one with a long exposure. Still need lights behind the rear wheels.

Two more pics. One of the lights under the front end and one of the switch in the dash.

Two pics of mid light installation.

The two 8-32 machine screws coming through the platform are neatly hidden beneath the floor mat. They are the tiny fasteners uner the clutch pedal. much smaller than the numerous bolts already hidden under the mat.

How about a full picture so we can see how weird it is. You need to add an Iron Cross to it somewhere and a WW1 German helmet spike to the canopy.

I like it, I am going to start looking for decals. I don't know exactly what I want yet, but I'll find something. Maybe a hood ornament too, hmmm....

What I want is a pinup girl like mjncad but there really is no room for paint. The wife says she is going to paint flames along the side. I hate to see her waste her time cause those areas get trashed in my terrain.
