I bought an LED light for use at night when backing up (mainly used in winter while plowing). Bought mine on Ebay for $57. Mine is 21" wide. Its 120 Watt and works very well. I made a bracket to go across the back to mount it on (3/16" angle and some 3/16" flat stock). Also made one for the front and moved the front cab driving lights down onto it. The third pic shows my garage door at night from 24' away. No moon that night, it was pitch black outside.
The only other lights I've added are amber flashing strobes. 3 front and 3 back seen just under the LED light. And for me it was a simple wiring job. Just time consuming to pop the roof top and side panel inside to run wiring and a rocker switch.
It was pretty easy only hard part was snaking the wire to feed the relay.
Mounting will all depend on what light you go with.
It was easy with mine I just made 2 L brackets and every thing lined up.
If I was to do it again I would probably bend the bracket up to follow the roof line as it will raise the light up a little and the roof bolts will be easier to access.
With that being said it does not block my line of sight were it is.
