Mike, what is the situation in the third photo, the one with the front shot of your nice house? That looks like a really wide area you've plowed, almost like a parking lot?

2012 Kioti CK35hst with 1995 Schulte 6200 3pt blower.
1985 JD 318 with 54" 4 way plow.
North East PA got hit pretty hard. 24-28" measured in several spots.

That 3rd photo with the Deere sitting down in the blower cut should get some sorta prize for illustrating snow depth.

Thanks Fat Tire, reminded me of a pic you posted a couple years ago with your Kubota in a cut you made with your Mog. I couldn't resist putting the little guy down there for perspective.
The wind was brutal this storm and I get some bad drifting. I always cut a path around the house and clear the side basement entrance in case I need to pull the generator out or my ice fishing sled. Love that Mog.

You'd think I was using a snow blower wouldn't you. Unfortunately, no cab in my future.
Have you ever considered a full face snowmobile helmet then ? You can even et them with a 12V electric shield, as long as you got something to plug it into.

The are in front of my equipment building (Front of House) was an old horse rink . I made it a bit bigger and graveled it. I plow it to keep equipment building open and get to chicken coop. The area down and around the house a was blast rock mountain at one point. I keep the back open to get at the horse staying in the "Cow Camp" and to get at the firewood. Of course, the wife wants the current horse paddock open also.
I probably plow an acre of snow.

Ahh, got it. It takes a while to clear out a single area that large.

There are a lot of cool photos buried in this thread now, but it is so long we'll never see most of them again...

Re: Pictures of your snow weapons, storm of 3-14-17

We got 36+ inches in about 12 hours. The local weather guy said it was coming down at a rate of 4" an hour a few times during the day. Went out twice to clear most of the white stuff. Even today I'm cleaning up some small snow to get ready for this weekends snow prediction.

We got 19" in the valley I live in, while surrounding areas got up to 30". The rear blade helps, but I'm seriously considering a front blade for my GC2600 (mainly because it would work in dirt too unlike a blower, and our 5-yr plan is a house with more property in another state). After helping clear out 2 other people's driveways where I had to scoop and dump (unable to push) I'm torn between the MF dozer blade (or adapting some other plow) or trying to make a light material bucket that's larger. I made one out of wood mainly to cut cleaning out the goat pen from 10-12 bucket loads down to 3-4. I've found it works well with the snow, but it's wood so I have to keep rebuilding it. Would love to find a larger bucket that would work with minimal modifications.
