Picking up BX24 tomorrow

The BX is safely in the garage! You are right Cap N Cray, the tongue was a little light on the trailer. I should have backed it on. But the trip went well and I am now a happy owner.

However, I think I have a problem. The tractor is so shiny and new I pulled up a reclining chair and I just stare at it. I can't pull myself away. My wife looked up the symptoms on the Internet and it appears I have developed "Occular Kubota-titis". Apparently, it is a growing phenomenon of which there is no known cure. Wives across America are hailing it as the first known Viagra antidote and urging their husbands to "take up gardening." Kubotas are suddenly showing up in apartment buildings, condominiums and marinas across the continent. Authorities fear an epidemic...

God help those of us afflicted. Better yet, just leave us alone and let us "suffer" in silence.

i do not see a difference in the seat pics ,and what is the problem with the seats?

The old seat is thin, and slopes forward, which makes you tend to slide forward or out of the seat while mowing and such.

I just got my brand new 2007 BX24 last Friday. I brought it home in a 16 foot car/utility trailer, two axle with brakes, 7K. Used yellow straps on four corners with no problems. Had to lower the hoe's boom to get it in the trailer then raised it back up. Lowered the FEL and set the brake. The trailer was a little lighter on the tongue than I like it. May have been better to back it in.

I paid $15120 with a 12 inch bucket. Only option a 54" finish MMM, extra $1600. Of course plus tax. I was told by the dealer that a thumb would void the warranty, I still may get one. I also used the 3 yr deal.

I can't believe the stuff I can do with this machine.

I was at a new local dealer the other day and took these photos of a new BX24 with the new seat and a factory step stay kit. Make sure yours looks like this. The old seat is pictured on the BX2350 in the background.

Is Kubota taking care of the up grades. How do we get them ? I don't think I can let my pumpkin go back to the dealer for this lol

Wondering the same thing. i must have the old seat because I noticed that mowing for a while is very uncomfortable and I find myself falling forward. Should the dealer take care of this or do I have to pay for the new seat?.

I talked to my dealer the other day about this. Appartently there was a June 15th deadline for the seat deal. Now if you want one it will be $150-200. It sure would have been nice if Kubota would have let us know about that offer via letter.

That doesn't make any sense. I just called a dealer today, and all I need to do is bring in my old seat and serial number, and they will do a one for one swap.
