Phase one of the Perka barn

I am finally getting around to posting a pic of this last summers project I built to keep some of the weather off our fiver. It is only phase one of the barn with lean-to's cupola and siding to follow. It is 24x42 with 18' eaves and a 10/12 roof pitch.

I prebuilt the front and rear roof sections on the ground and set them with a crane, more pics to come.

Scozz is right, that's a beauty! I'm working on the slab for mine now. My fiver stands 12' 6" at the top of the A/C unit. I only planned on making the ceiling 15'. Why did you go so high? Or was it necessary to get that pitch? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I am going for the same look most of the old barns in my area have and they are high.Also the tall sidewalls will let my have a better roof pitch on the lean to that I plan to build on both sides and back.
