Correct .... it was the Remington Electric Razor and the statement was made by Victor Kiam

Yep, I fell for it, and since then I've bought two Remingtons and threw them in the trash and bought a Norelco. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

His advertising must have worked well, but you can't blame him for your dissatisfaction. "He semi retired in 1992, ending the series of Remington commercials". It has been so long, that I forgot his name and had to search it out on the INTERNET. Here is a brief biography of Victor Kiam. Even if you didn't like his razor, you have to admit that he did get you to try it........ twice...... Guess that you weren't that unhappy with the first one... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes, I was that unhappy with it. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif But it was the "foil" type, so when I threw it away, I tried the "rotary" type; looks like the Norelco, but sure didn't work like a Norelco.

I used to have a "foil" type Remington. I HATED it. Dumb thing didn't work well at all. This surprised me, but it didn't take long before something messed up inside and it would leak oil or something and turn your face gray! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I said heck with it and went back to Norelco.

Can't remember who asked for an updated view of the dogs in our new truck, but here it is. Since the dogs ride up front with me (two at a time), I've never understood their fascination with the bed, but every time that tailgate drops they charge enmasse! Pete

Poncho,
I sware this is my favorite thread. I enjoy looking at all the pets. I miss my dog "Barney" and would have added her picture if I had any.

Just makes you want to sit up in there with them and love on them till the cows come home. Beautiful bunch of dogs.

I am a little late here and only have a picture of 1 of the "Boys". Its the only picture I have electronically of all of our pets.

This happens to be my wifes good horse Cliff. She is going into the pen for this particular competition. We have 3 performance horses... 2 sorels and a bay with ages from 4-12. We also have a really great Belgian Sheep dog that is the oldest at 13 and a black lab that is about 3. His name is Chester but we call him Pester for short.

I posted this over on the rural living forum - - GerardC suggested that I post it here too. I didn't even know this was going on. Great thread.

This is BC [Barn Cat]. He adopted us about 3-4 years ago. It took months before he would let us get close to him. Now, we can't get rid of him. Not that we want to. He's abandoned the barn for the house.

My comment about this photo was I wish I could teach him to eat armadillos. Or maybe rats, instead of rat snakes.

Here's BC again from earlier in the summer. His fur is so long that we can't keep it groomed. It gets super matted & tangled. Our solution is to get him clipped. We've been doing that for a couple of years now. Of course, I'd rather he did not go out in public till a little of the coat grows back.

My wife said those rat snakes go for over $120.00 each in the pet shops here. Load up a truckload and pay for a nice trip to CA LOL
